PiggieMail is a free web based e-mail service. This is what you get when you sign up for an account.

Free,private e-mail you can access from virtually any internet connected computer with a web browser

A permanent e-mail address in the form of username@ukguineapigs.org.uk
Access all of your POP3 e-mail
Bulk mail handling
HTML formatted e-mail and stationery (piggies what else?)
Send upto 3 attachments with each e-mail

The username and password can be used to post messages on the message boards and entering the chat room

The discussion area contains the forums. Each forum has it's own message board and chatrooms. The chat rooms are Java Applets, to use these you will need to enable Java in your web browser. You can also bookmark your favourite forums in your web browser.

UK Guinea Pigs is an e-mail based discussion list. If this is your first list with eGroups, you will need to complete a short form to register with eGroups. You can also subscribe to the list via e-mail - if this is your first list, you will need to reply to a message confirming your eGroups account

The list is available in 3 formats

Live messages - you recieve postings as they are sent out
Daily Digest - the days postings or 25 messages whichever comes first, you may recieve more than one digest each day
No Mail/Web only - you recieve no messages, but you can post and read messages on the eGroups website

You can change your subscription at any time via e-mail or from the eGroups site. Further information is in the lists Welcome Message, which is sent out automatically after you have subscribed to this list, or you can send an e-mail to ukguineapigs-help@egroups.com to recieve an automated message of the addresses you will need to change your subscription options..
